Below is some information on some of the organs I have encountered recently. I'll add more to this as and when I come across interesting organs that may be worthy of note (and of which I can get photos).

Here are a few of pictures to be getting on with.

The 4-manual Harrison in St Mary's Stafford. Now in a poor state of repair.

Above and to the right are the organs at St. Mary's Collegiate Church, Stafford. Both are in use but the Harrison is not in a good state of repair. It remains unaltered since its installation by Harrison in 1909. There is talk of a rebuild but this is at the early stages.

Ledbury Parish Church - The organ originally installed by Elliott in 1820, and subject to rebuilds by Nicholson in 1895 and 1970 was again rebuilt in 2002 by Percy Daniel and Co with extensive layout and tonal alterations. It has retained its tracker action although this remains heavy.

Hill Norman and Beard at St. Mary's, Stafford. Put in in the 80s when the Harrison became unreliable

Ledbury Parish Church. Rebuilt in 2002. Action oiled with Evostick!

The organ case at Hay-on-Wye Parish Church formerly one of the Quarters of the Bishop Organ at Southwell Minster.  This housed until 2003 a 1935 Hill Norman and Beard extension organ which was ,undoubtedly, one of the worst instruments I have ever played. There was thereafter installed a two-manual Gray and Davidson with alterations and additions. Owing to some difficulties, of too-much complexity to go into here, it has been removed and the case now stands empty.

St Mary's Hay-on-Wye. This is a west-end organ in a gallery. Not a good photo.

St Michael the Archangel, Abertyleri. W.G. Vowles 1910. My first post was here. Fine three-manual complete with tuba unit at 16, 8, and 4.  The organ is not in brilliant condition although some recent ongoing repairs and additions have improved it no end.
